Happily, this week, it was my pleasure to be published again. I was included in a panel of about two-dozen mental health experts on the topic of people being so easily offended these days.
Curious, would you agree with that? Do you see people more easily offended these days? Why do you think so? I would love to know your thoughts
Meanwhile, Hop over and read the article Here at UpJourney:
Thematically, though each expert had their own ideas and expressed them quite well. Most panelists agreed people are more easily offended these days because they have:
- Anxiety
- Insecurity
- Immaturity
- Trauma
- Unrealistic Expectations
- Poor Communication Skills
- Feelings of Entitlement
- Unmet Needs
Interestingly, Don Miguel Ruiz described in ‘The Four Agreements,” how helpful in life it is, not to take things personally. However, for their own different reasons, people continue to be easily offended.
Empathetically, learn to respond to offended people with a listening ear and understanding.
Lastly, Continue to learn emotional maturity. It’s important to keep working on healing your own traumas, growing your communication skills, and managing your needs. NLP, and Hypnosis help with just these things.
Additionally, If you’re interested in learning in a group or individually, schedule a “Life Re-Imagined” Session.
